Nanovate, a Cairo-based artificial intelligence company, has secured $2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by a group of angel investors. Founded just nine months ago by Nancy Madbouly and Ahmed Gamal, Nanovate is developing end-to-end Arabic AI solutions to help businesses across the MENA region operate more efficiently in their native language and its various dialects. The startup is also supported by MINT Incubator by EG Bank and the Raya FutureTECH Accelerator.
Developing Native Arabic AI
Nanovate has built its own Large Language Models (LLMs) to power its suite of AI products, which are tailored to understand and operate in 22 different Arabic dialects. The company offers advanced AI-powered chat and voice agents, automation systems, and customized solutions. It has also launched a Beta version of its dashboard, which allows companies to build their own Arabic AI chat agents using a no-code platform that combines native language understanding, real-time speech and emotion AI, and workflow automation.

Strategic Expansion and Growth
The newly acquired capital will be instrumental in fueling Nanovate’s expansion plans, with a primary focus on entering the Saudi Arabian and UAE markets. The funds will also be used to scale its AI ecosystem to cater to more industries and develop deeper integrations with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other business tools. Additionally, the company will invest further in its AI research and development and expand its team to support its growth trajectory.
