The Egyptian edtech platform Sprints has announced a landmark strategic partnership aimed at training 100,000 young individuals across the MENA region in artificial intelligence skills. This ambitious initiative brings together key players from the technology, investment, and content creation sectors to bridge the digital divide and prepare the regional workforce for the ongoing AI revolution. Supported by DisrupTech Ventures, the collaboration represents a massive scale-up in technical vocational training for the Arab world.
A Multidimensional Approach To AI Literacy
The initiative leverages the unique strengths of several prominent entities to ensure a comprehensive learning experience. WideBot AI, led by Mohamed Nabil, will provide the advanced artificial intelligence technologies and technical infrastructure required for the program. To ensure the content is accessible to a non-technical audience, the project has enlisted Ahmed El Ghandour, the creator of the popular “Al-Daheeh” show, to simplify complex technical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand educational material.
Strategic Investment And Regional Impact
Strategic backing for the initiative is provided by Keheilan Asset Management, under the leadership of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hamid, contributing the necessary investment and expertise to scale the program across borders. By combining high-level investment with localized AI tools and mass-market communication strategies, Sprints aims to democratize access to high-demand tech skills. The partnership was officially inaugurated during an event organized with the support of DisrupTech Ventures, highlighting the collaborative nature of Egypt’s growing tech ecosystem.
Addressing The Tech Talent Gap
This 100,000-student initiative aligns with Sprints’ core mission to solve the tech talent shortage in the Middle East and Africa. By focusing specifically on AI, the partnership addresses one of the most critical skill gaps in the modern economy. The program is designed not only to provide theoretical knowledge but to empower youth with practical tools, enabling them to participate actively in the global AI economy and secure future-proof career paths.
