A Comprehensive Incubation Package
The StartIT program stands out due to its founder-friendly, equity-free model. Startups accepted into the year-long incubator will receive a comprehensive package of benefits, including:
- A dedicated fund of EGP 480,000 for essential services (marketing, HR, legal, technical).
- $10,000 in AWS credits for cloud services.
- Tech Talent Hiring Support through partnerships with TalentsArena, Techiematter, and Sprints.
- AI Tech Support, including consultancy and training with AI experts.
- Access to investor networks, 24/7 office space, and local/international exhibitions.
- Advisory & Mentoring from a network of technical and business consultants.
Who Should Apply?
The program is designed for innovative, early-stage technology startups that meet the following key criteria:
- The project must be ICT-based or ICT-related.
- The idea must offer an innovative solution to a real market problem.
- The project must have a working prototype or MVP (full conceptual ideas are not considered).
- The team must have at least one full-time co-founder dedicated to the project.
- The startup cannot be incubated in another program simultaneously.
The Application and Selection Process
The selection process is structured in three main phases:
- Application: Founders must submit a detailed application and business plan.
- Interview: Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview to discuss their vision and preparedness.
- Pitching: Successful interviewees will pitch their startup to a final judging panel.
