Egypt’s Youth Leads Youth Union Launches Blue Bazaar to Champion Young Entrepreneurs

The Youth Leads Youth (YLY) union, an initiative operating under Egypt’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, has launched its inaugural “Blue Bazaar” in Port Said. The innovative event was created with the primary objective of supporting and empowering the country’s youth in the fields of entrepreneurship and small to medium-sized enterprises.

The bazaar was held under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, and was attended by key officials including Khaled Al-Nahla, Director of the Youth and Sports Directorate in Port Said, and Shahab Gamal El-Din, Chairman of the YLY union’s Board of Directors. The event was organized in collaboration with the Port Said Youth and Sports Directorate and the Inner Wheel Club.

Fostering a Culture of Self-Employment

The Blue Bazaar initiative is a direct implementation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ directives to establish sustainable platforms for young people to display and market their products and projects. By providing this crucial market access, the government aims to cultivate a stronger culture of self-employment, encouraging innovation and productivity among the nation’s youth.

A Platform for Diverse Young Talent

The event saw widespread participation from YLY union members across Egypt’s governorates, alongside numerous young entrepreneurs and founders of emerging brands. The bazaar showcased a diverse range of creative ventures, including handmade designs, natural products, fashion apparel, and accessories, all reflecting the immense talent and entrepreneurial energy of the participants.
