FINTECH.TV Details Saudi Expansion Strategy Focused On Localisation

4 Min Read

Global media platform FINTECH.TV has announced a significant expansion into the Gulf region, with a strategic focus on Saudi Arabia. Speaking at Cityscape Global, founders Vince Molinari and Troy McGuire detailed their plans to establish a local presence and foster cross-border storytelling, capitalizing on the Kingdom’s surging digital finance and fintech adoption.

Bridging Global and Regional Narratives

FINTECH.TV founders highlighted a growing, reciprocal interest between US and GCC audiences. They observe a strong appetite from Saudi and regional viewers for US-centric content on digital assets and sustainability, while US audiences are increasingly seeking visibility into the Gulf’s rapidly transforming digital economy.

“So many of these conversations that have been underspoken about in the United States… digital assets, stablecoin, certain levels of sustainability… needed to be broadcast and spoken about,” said Vince Molinari, founder and CEO. “What we found is those conversations transcend boundaries.”

Troy McGuire, co-founder and head of programming, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the universal nature of fintech innovation. “These are world stories… the stories that we tell in the US also work perfectly for finding companies in the Gulf that are doing the same thing.”

Aligning with Vision 2030

The platform’s expansion strategy is deeply intertwined with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Molinari noted that the Kingdom’s priorities—including economic diversification, sustainability, and opening to foreign investment—align perfectly with FINTECH.TV’s core content pillars.

To effectively capture and broadcast the region’s story, a local footprint is non-negotiable. “We know we have to be local, so we know we have to be on the ground here… we expect to build a studio here at some point for coverage,” McGuire stated.

e stressed that building strong relationships with local banks, regulators, fintech startups, and investment firms will be essential to their success. “We need cooperation. We need to know locally and in-country what’s going on.”

A Multi-Format Content Strategy

Recognizing the shift in media consumption habits, FINTECH.TV is employing a multi-platform content strategy. The company aims to deliver its expert-driven conversations across various formats to meet decision-makers where they are.

“In this day and age… that piece of content needs to go everywhere. Whether it’s podcasts, short form, or long form… you’ve got to go where they’re watching or listening,” explained McGuire.

The platform plans to replicate its model of producing in-depth analysis on topics like blockchain and digital assets, building a strong pipeline of regional guests, startups, and institutions to feature on a global stage.
