Polygreen, a global provider of circular economy solutions, has officially launched “Again, Please,” the UAE’s first comprehensive reusable foodware system. The launch took place during the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, marking a significant step in the nation’s push towards sustainability and away from single-use plastics.
A Circular Solution for a Post-Plastic Era
Again, Please is a reverse logistics, closed-loop packaging solution designed for high-traffic environments such as events, exhibitions, entertainment venues, and F&B operators. Timed perfectly with the UAE’s recent legislation to phase out single-use plastic products, the system provides a practical and scalable alternative. As a demonstration of its application, reusable hot and cold cups from Again, Please were used by participating exhibitors throughout the WFES event.
Athanasios Polychronopoulos, Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer at Polygreen, commented on the strategic timing of the launch.
“The UAE has taken decisive steps to address plastic waste through regulation and policy. Again, Please demonstrates how policy, infrastructure, and proven reusable packaging solutions which support behavioural change can work together. By replacing single-use cups with a practical, scalable reuse model, we are helping business partners move from intention to direct impact.”
End-to-End Infrastructure in Abu Dhabi
The system offers tailored reusable packaging formats supported by complete end-to-end infrastructure. This includes designated collection points, logistics, industrial washing, and redeployment to ensure hygiene, convenience, and operational efficiency for partners.
A cornerstone of this infrastructure is the Again, Please wash hub located in the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD). As the first facility of its kind in the UAE, the hub is equipped for high-volume, food-grade washing and rapid turnaround, ensuring a steady and safe supply of reusable packaging back into circulation.
“Our goal with Again, Please is to make reuse simple, accessible, and commercially viable. By providing the full infrastructure behind the scenes, from washing and logistics to on-ground deployment, we enable HoReCa operators and venues to move away from single-use foodware while elevating their customer experience,” added Theodossios Kassapantoniou, General Manager of Again, Please.
Prior to its official debut, the system was successfully piloted across several events in Abu Dhabi, demonstrating high return rates and strong consumer adoption. By replacing disposable items, Again, Please helps partners reduce landfill waste, lower their carbon footprint, and generate measurable ESG outcomes.
