The Hayah Karima (Decent Life) Foundation has announced the launch of a new training program in entrepreneurship and marketing as part of its Secret of the Craft initiative. The announcement was part of a broader review of the foundation’s achievements from August 23-28, which highlighted a series of accomplishments across various development sectors.
By the Numbers
The foundation’s recent activities have delivered a significant impact across multiple governorates:
- 6,180 citizens: Benefited from 9 medical convoys and 3 awareness seminars.
- 1,600+ citizens: Benefited from the “You Are Life” comprehensive development convoy in Suez.
- 11,846 citizens: Benefited from discounted food and goods through fixed and mobile outlets.
- 54% Completion: The progress rate for the development of 100 homes in Menoufia.
- 79% Completion: The progress rate for the construction of a health unit in Safaga.
A Multi-Faceted Approach to Empowerment
The new entrepreneurship and marketing training program, launched under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, is the latest addition to Hayah Karima’s economic empowerment efforts. This week also saw the conclusion of the first phase of vocational training in sewing, leather, and macramé, held in collaboration with the Khedive Khadija’s Palace, which is part of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Driving Social and Digital Inclusion
In the social empowerment sector, the foundation launched the sixth phase of its “Technology Ambassadors” program in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications, which aims to digitally qualify youth through the internationally accredited IC3 SPARK course. Additionally, a comprehensive development convoy, “You Are Life,” was held in Suez, providing medical, humanitarian, and awareness services to over 1,600 citizens.
A Commitment to Sustainable Development
The foundation’s recent work also included significant infrastructure projects, such as the ongoing development of 100 homes in Menoufia and the construction of a health unit in the Red Sea governorate. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy that also includes providing monthly subsidies to families in need, supporting micro-enterprises, and delivering extensive medical and veterinary services across the country. The foundation’s efforts reflect its deep commitment to improving the quality of life for citizens through effective partnerships and impactful initiatives.
