Ignyte, the UAE-based digital ecosystem and innovation platform, has officially announced the finalists for its “Build the Web3 SuperApp” challenge. Hosted in partnership with the TON Foundation, the competition sought startups capable of integrating Web3 payments and tokenization into everyday life using the TON blockchain and Telegram’s vast social interface.
The selected finalists will move on to the next stage of the competition, which culminates in a live pitch event at one of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks.
The Finalists
Selected from a pool of applicants for their clear vision and practical use cases, the five finalists aim to bridge the gap between complex blockchain technology and daily user needs. The cohort includes:
- Dhahaby: A UAE-based fintech platform that enables users to leverage gold assets for securing financing, effectively digitizing and tokenizing gold for modern liquidity.
- Invites: A solution focused on leveraging Telegram’s social graph for event or access management.
- TONsends: A tool designed to streamline transactions and transfers within the TON ecosystem.
- TeleGift: A service likely centered on enabling seamless digital gifting through Telegram.
- ZYNC: A finalist focused on enhancing the Web3 application utility within the SuperApp framework.
According to Ignyte, these teams were chosen because they “cut through the noise” with solutions that make Web3 payments and tokenization accessible for real-world application.
A Stage at the Museum of the Future
The challenge will conclude with a high-profile Demo Day hosted at Dubai’s Museum of the Future. The event serves as the finale for four simultaneous innovation challenges, where a total of 20 standout startups will pitch their solutions to expert juries.
The judging panels will include representatives from major industry players such as du, Solana, TON Foundation, and Avalanche. The event is positioned not just as a pitch competition, but as a strategic bridge connecting founders with enterprise partners, capital, and global scaling opportunities.
Driving Web3 Adoption in MENA
This collaboration between Ignyte and the TON Foundation highlights the growing importance of the MENA region as a hub for Web3 innovation. By focusing on the “SuperApp” concept, the challenge aims to leverage Telegram’s massive user base to normalize crypto-based payments and asset management for mainstream users.
