In a significant move to advance youth education in the Kingdom, INJAZ Bahrain has partnered with global aerospace leader Boeing to launch a new STEM Hub. Located at the Bahrain FinTech Bay in Manama, the center is designed to equip Bahraini youth with critical skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, preparing them for the future global economy.
A Strategic Partnership for Bahrain’s Youth
The inauguration of the STEM Hub marks another milestone in the long-standing partnership between Boeing and INJAZ Al-Arab, which began in 2009. The launch event was attended by key leaders, including H.H. Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, and Kuljit Ghata-Aura, President of Boeing Middle East, Turkey, and Africa.
H.H. Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa commented on the launch, stating, “We are thrilled to launch the new STEM Hub in collaboration with Boeing. This state-of-the-art facility will provide Bahraini youth with invaluable opportunities to develop critical skills in STEM fields, empowering them to become innovators and leaders in the future. This initiative is a testament to our shared vision of fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Bahrain.”
Kuljit Ghata-Aura added, “Boeing is proud to partner with INJAZ Bahrain to empower the next generation of leaders and innovators. At Boeing, we believe in the power of education to transform lives and drive progress. Our partnership with INJAZ Bahrain is part of our dedicated efforts to support the communities where we live and work and to contribute to the development of a thriving aerospace ecosystem in the region.”
Cultivating Future-Ready Skills
The new STEM Hub will offer a dynamic learning environment where students can engage in hands-on programs focused on programming, robotics, and 3D printing. A key area of focus for the hub will be the aerospace and aviation industries, leveraging Boeing’s expertise to inspire and train the next generation of engineers and tech professionals.
By providing access to advanced technology and specialized mentorship, the initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands, ensuring that Bahrain’s young talent is well-prepared for high-demand careers.
