Incubation Program Overview

Orange Corners Baghdad, an initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands implemented by Kapita, is launching its 12th cohort to support 20 diverse startups. The program aims to revitalize the entrepreneurial ideas of young Iraqi men and women through a comprehensive six-month incubation period. Participants will receive the training, business development support, masterclasses, and consultancy required to turn innovative ideas into sustainable businesses.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Residency: Must be a resident of Iraq.
  • Age: Between 18 and 37 years old.
  • Education: High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree at minimum.
  • Stage: Startups must be in the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) stage or ready to launch products/services.
  • Availability: Must be unemployed or employed part-time only, with sufficient time to commit to the program and training.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Arabic; some English proficiency and leadership skills are required.
  • Focus: Must present an innovative idea that addresses Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
