The Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI), the knowledge beacon of the Islamic Development Bank Group, has announced a special initiative for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, offering complimentary access to its entire collection of e-books. The promotion will run from 18 February to 3 April 2026.
A Gateway to Knowledge
Throughout this period, professionals, researchers, and students across the MENA region and beyond can access IsDBI’s full library of publications on Islamic economics and finance at no cost. The e-books are available for reading through the IsDBI eBook Reader application.
A key feature of this initiative is that once an e-book is downloaded to a user’s personal library on the Reader, it will remain permanently accessible, even after the free access period concludes on April 3, 2026.
Four Decades of Insight
IsDBI’s extensive catalogue represents more than four decades of cutting-edge research and actionable insights. The collection is designed to support a wide audience, including financial professionals, policymakers, academics, and students seeking to deepen their understanding of Islamic economics and finance principles.
In a statement on the occasion, Dr. Sami Al-Suwailem, Acting Director General of IsDBI, commented on the initiative.
“We are delighted to invite professionals, researchers, and the public to take advantage of this opportunity to explore and benefit from a vast collection of knowledge and actionable insights. This initiative reflects IsDBI’s commitment to promoting knowledge sharing and intellectual dialogue.”
