The Jadara Foundation has announced the five winning projects of its Imal’Avenir social entrepreneurship incubation program. The initiative, themed “Moving Forward with Jadara,” concluded with a PITCH DAY event at the Higher School of Engineers in Casablanca, attended by institutional and professional stakeholders from the entrepreneurship and social work sectors.

Imal’Avenir is a core component of Jadara Foundation’s mission to promote equal opportunities and empower Moroccan youth, with a specific focus on orphans aged 19 to 23. The program is designed to support innovative projects that address the needs of children and youth in vulnerable situations and social care institutions, aiming to create a sustainable social impact.

A Structured Path to Social Impact

The program was executed over four comprehensive stages: a priming phase, a pre-launch phase, a post-launch phase, and an incubation phase. Throughout this journey, participants received specialized training in social entrepreneurship, participated in personal development workshops, and benefited from individual and group mentoring sessions.

This structured approach enabled the young entrepreneurs to refine their initial ideas and transform them into viable, actionable initiatives ready for implementation.

Spotlight on Innovation

During the final PITCH DAY competition, participants presented their ventures to a specialized jury. After deliberation, five winning projects were selected to receive financial and strategic support to help them launch and scale their operations.

Mansour Youssef, a student at the National School of Commerce and Management in Oujda and one of the winners, highlighted the program’s value. “The program gave us a real opportunity to develop social projects that serve social care institutions,” he stated.

“Our project, Lotus, is based on transforming the waste from local artisans in the Marrakech region into decorative products and accessories. This helps generate financial resources for social institutions and opens up prospects for the economic integration of young people.”

Fostering a Sustainable Ecosystem

Oumaima El Baroudi, Project Manager at the Jadara Foundation, emphasized that the program is a practical example of the foundation’s commitment to supporting youth with the tools they need for success. She stressed that Imal’Avenir is focused on investing in young talent and turning their ideas into projects with added social value, supported by strategic partners throughout the incubation process.

The initiative represents a pioneering model in the field of social entrepreneurship, leveraging a participatory approach that unites civil society and support institutions to empower youth as a fundamental driver of sustainable social development.
