Jordan’s Wasatia Youth Center has successfully concluded its ‘Entrepreneurship and Technology’ training course, an initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of business leaders and tech professionals. The program was delivered in partnership with the Business Development Center (BDC) Jordan and engaged 30 young men and women between the ages of 16 and 18 who are passionate about entrepreneurship and modern technologies.
Building A Foundation For Innovation
Over several days, a team of expert trainers from the BDC guided participants through a curriculum focused on critical modern business skills. The sessions covered foundational topics such as fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, preparing effective project plans, and navigating the essentials of digital marketing. A key component of the course was introducing the young attendees to various modern technology tools that can support and accelerate entrepreneurial ventures, ensuring their ideas are built on a contemporary digital footing.
Empowering The Next Generation
This initiative is part of a broader strategy to equip Jordanian youth with the practical and cognitive skills necessary to thrive in today’s competitive job market. “This course comes within the framework of the center’s continuous endeavor to empower participants and prepare them for the labor market,” said Majdulin Al-Khatib, Head of the Wasatia Youth Center. She praised the high level of engagement and enthusiasm from the attendees, noting that the program culminated in the participants presenting a number of their own innovative project ideas, which reflected their deep understanding of the concepts taught.
