The Jordanian government, through its Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, has officially launched Darb, a new national digital platform designed to support the country’s entrepreneurs. The initiative, developed in collaboration with the organization Partners for Good, aims to provide a comprehensive ecosystem for founders to transform their ideas into successful ventures.
The Ministry has called on all entrepreneurs in Jordan to register on the platform and leverage its resources, positioning Darb as a gateway for turning ambitious concepts into tangible businesses.
A Structured Path For Founders
Darb is designed as a specialized digital hub offering structured pathways and advanced tools to guide entrepreneurs throughout their journey. The platform provides diverse educational content and specialized tools that enable founders to develop and analyze their business ideas effectively.
A key feature of the platform is its ability to connect entrepreneurs with a network of incubators, accelerators, and investors, significantly enhancing the success potential of their projects. This network of supporting partners is intended to help startups accelerate their growth and expand their market reach.
A Phased Three-Track Approach
The platform’s resources will be introduced through three main tracks, rolled out progressively to align with the evolving needs of entrepreneurs.
The first track, “The Idea,” is available at launch and focuses on helping founders crystallize and analyze their initial concepts using tools that foster creative thinking.
The second track, “Validation and Business Model Building,” is expected to be released in the coming months. This phase will concentrate on developing an integrated business model and verifying market needs in preparation for a project launch.
The final track, “Networking,” is scheduled for 2025. It will provide entrepreneurs with opportunities to connect with potential investors and strategic partners, facilitating business expansion and long-term success.
Strengthening Jordan’s Digital Economy
The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship views the launch of Darb as a significant step in bolstering Jordan’s entrepreneurial landscape. The initiative aligns with the government’s strategic vision to empower youth, foster innovation across sectors, and strengthen the national digital economy.
By providing advanced digital tools and creating a supportive environment, the government aims to empower a new generation of entrepreneurs to build sustainable and impactful projects.
