A Strategic Partnership for Youth Empowerment
The “A More Resilient Future” project was implemented with support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Citi Foundation. The three-year partnership has focused on providing targeted support to young entrepreneurs, with a special emphasis on empowering women and refugee founders alongside Jordanians, reflecting a deep commitment to enabling the most marginalized communities.
Showcasing a New Generation of Jordanian Ventures
The concluding event for the project served as a platform to showcase inspirational success stories of youth-led projects that have transformed from initial ideas into established companies with a tangible impact. The event also provided a crucial opportunity for participants to network with supporters, investors, and experts from the entrepreneurship ecosystem, strengthening their chances for future growth.
Leadership on Building a Resilient Future
Eka Zhvania, Country Director of the IRC in Jordan, commented on the partnership’s success, stating, “We at the IRC believe that entrepreneurship is not just a means of economic empowerment, but a tool for building a more stable future for youth and women affected by crises… What we have witnessed today reflects the energy and creativity in Jordan.”
Deema Bibi, CEO of INJAZ, affirmed this sentiment, saying, “This partnership has contributed to expanding the scope of our support for entrepreneurs across Jordan, and we have seen the direct impact of this collaboration through the success stories on the ground… This achievement reflects our deep belief that investing in youth and entrepreneurship is an investment in a more resilient and prosperous future.”
