A call for applications has been launched for Fast Track Employment for Startups @ South, a program designed to support startups, SMEs, and ambitious project ideas in the southern governorates of Jordan. The initiative aims to foster business growth and create new, sustainable job opportunities in the region.
Program Overview and Mission
The program will support 25 startups and SMEs across the southern governorates of Jordan to expand their operations, enhance their competitiveness, and create 25 new jobs. The mission is to provide entrepreneurs with specialized training, mentorship, and access to finance to help them grow their ventures. The program is divided into two main tracks: Enterprise Growth for existing businesses and Enterprise Creation for new or ideation-stage businesses.
What Participants Will Receive
All selected startups will receive a comprehensive support package designed to accelerate their growth, including:
- Seed funding for all participating projects.
- 50+ hours of specialized training and guidance.
- One-on-one consultations with business experts.
- Access to finance and investment opportunities.
- Networking opportunities with entrepreneurs and investors.
- Technical support and specialized business events to expand markets.
Who Should Apply?
The program is calling for entrepreneurs and business owners from the southern governorates of Jordan. This includes:
- Entrepreneurs with existing startups, small, or medium-sized enterprises in Karak, Tafilah, Ma’an, Aqaba, and surrounding areas.
- Individuals with new project ideas that have the potential to grow and create jobs in southern Jordan.
