Jordan’s High-Growth Startups Selected for EBRD Star Venture Program to Fuel Global Expansion

3 Min Read

The Seedstars network has spotlighted ten high-potential Jordanian startups selected for the EBRD Star Venture Programme, an initiative designed to scale ambitious enterprises through bespoke advisory and financing. This selection underscores Jordan’s unique position as a regional technology exporter, with World Bank data indicating that over 80% of the country’s startups are export-oriented. Supported by the European Union, the program aims to strengthen the private sector by providing these founders with the mentorship, investor readiness, and visibility required to navigate international markets.

Scaling Innovation Across Diverse Tech Verticals

The cohort represents a broad spectrum of innovation, ranging from deep-tech solutions to consumer marketplaces. Among the selected startups is Breeze, a no-code voice-AI orchestration platform enabling real-time conversational agents, and Vamu, a SaaS platform that automates cybersecurity compliance. In the logistics and retail space, Pillvery operates Jordan’s first Ministry of Health-approved cloud pharmacy, while Yaseer B2B acts as an FMCG marketplace aggregating demand for micro-businesses. These companies reflect the maturity of the Jordanian ecosystem in developing scalable, regulation-compliant technologies.

Specialized Solutions for Regional and Global Markets

The program also features startups tackling specific industry challenges, such as Scigeniq, which provides digital optimization for pharma and food manufacturers, and Parametra, a cloud-based 3D urban design platform for architects. The hospitality and gaming sectors are represented by askPepper, a multilingual digital ordering platform, and PREEZY, an online tournament platform for casual gamers. Additionally, the cohort includes Logatta, a big-data and AI engineering firm, and SPICE, a growth and funding platform specifically designed for the restaurant industry.

Targeted Support for International Readiness

The EBRD Star Venture Programme is structured to bridge the gap between local success and global scaling. Selected startups receive access to a global network of industry experts for tailored mentorship and participate in dedicated investor matchmaking events. By focusing on pitch preparation and media exposure, the program helps these Jordanian entities attract the necessary capital to expand beyond their domestic borders, reinforcing Jordan’s reputation as a primary hub for tech talent and innovation in the MENA region.
