Orange Jordan, in partnership with ICON, is expanding its commitment to Jordan’s entrepreneurial landscape by launching the second phase of the Startup Growth Acceleration Program. Hosted at the Accelerators of the Orange Digital Center, this initiative specifically targets early-stage ventures in the southern governorates of Al-Karak and Aqaba, aiming to cultivate innovation and economic growth beyond the capital.
Fostering Growth Beyond The Capital
The program is designed to empower entrepreneurs by helping them refine their business models and scale their operations. Running until the end of December, the accelerator provides participants with a comprehensive support system that includes advanced training, dedicated mentorship from leading industry experts, valuable networking opportunities, and essential logistical support. This focused effort aims to build a more inclusive and geographically diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem within Jordan.
A Strategic Partnership For Economic Development
This initiative is a core component of the “Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment” (E4DE) joint action. This broader framework is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in cooperation with Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), and is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The collaboration underscores a strong public-private commitment to building a sustainable and robust foundation for local businesses to thrive.
