Bahrain’s Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, inaugurated the “Careers and Entrepreneurship Day” exhibition at Kingdom University. Held under the theme “Create Your Future,” the event brought together students, graduates, and leading national and private sector companies to foster connections and explore opportunities in the modern job market, with a key focus on innovative artificial intelligence technologies.

The expo is a cornerstone of Kingdom University’s ongoing strategy to equip graduates with the practical and entrepreneurial skills necessary to thrive in today’s competitive landscape. By integrating AI-driven tools and showcasing tech-forward industries, the event provides students with direct exposure to the evolving demands of the job market. The event witnessed broad participation from over 25 major government institutions and private companies, reflecting strong institutional confidence in the caliber of Kingdom University’s graduates. Prominent participants included Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), Zain Bahrain, Asry for heavy industries, the Ministry of Youth Affairs, and the Sheikh Nasser Center for Research and Development in Artificial Intelligence. The diverse range of exhibitors spanned technology, finance, industry, and services, offering students a comprehensive view of potential career paths.

Complementing the exhibition, the event featured specialized workshops led by local and international experts on entrepreneurship, strategies for success in the labor market, and building a professional identity. Professor Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhouj, President of Kingdom University, highlighted the university’s holistic vision. “We are committed to providing an integrated educational environment that extends beyond academics to include professional support and career guidance,” he stated. “The Careers Day is a practical translation of this commitment, providing real opportunities for students to connect with decision-makers and explore their professional interests with confidence.”
