In a significant move to advance Bahrain’s fintech landscape, Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain has announced a strategic partnership with Beyon Money, the digital financial services arm of the Beyon Group. The collaboration positions KFH – Bahrain as the primary banking partner for Beyon Money, providing critical Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) infrastructure.
This partnership is set to empower Beyon Money to expand its suite of digital financial products for both individual and corporate clients across the Kingdom.
Powering Fintech with Banking-as-a-Service
Under the agreement, KFH – Bahrain will leverage its robust banking infrastructure to support Beyon Money’s operations. This includes enabling a range of advanced services such as seamless digital payment solutions, instant domestic transfers through the Fawri+ network, virtual account creation, and real-time transaction reconciliation.
The BaaS model allows fintechs like Beyon Money to build and offer innovative financial products on top of a regulated bank’s secure infrastructure, accelerating time-to-market and enhancing service reliability.
Enhancing Bahrain’s Financial Ecosystem
Leaders from both organizations highlighted the partnership’s role in strengthening the local financial ecosystem and improving the end-user experience. The collaboration reflects KFH – Bahrain’s commitment to supporting fintech innovation in line with global best practices.
Mohamed Assem, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer – Corporate Banking at KFH – Bahrain, commented on the alliance, stating, “Through our sophisticated banking infrastructure and digital solutions, we aim to empower our partners to deliver more efficient and seamless financial services, thereby enhancing the customer experience.”
