The Kuwait Innovation Center (KIC), in partnership with logistics and delivery solutions company Keeta, has successfully concluded the inaugural edition of the Keeta for Entrepreneurship Environment program. The initiative was designed to empower local SMEs and emerging talent by fostering the development of practical, technology-based solutions for the logistics and digital services sectors.
The program brought together a diverse group of entrepreneurs, startups, and local innovators to address tangible operational challenges within Kuwait’s delivery ecosystem. The closing ceremony served as a celebration of the participants’ achievements, featuring a project showcase and an awards ceremony to recognize the most impactful solutions developed during the program.
Fostering Practical Innovation
The collaboration aimed to create a direct link between industry needs and local talent, providing a platform for innovators to build scalable solutions with real-world applications.
Mohammed Al-Rifai, CEO of the Kuwait Innovation Center, stated, “This event reflects our commitment to supporting practical innovation that is linked to market needs and aligned with national priorities. The program culminated in the announcement of three winning teams whose solutions demonstrated high levels of innovation, applicability, and potential impact.
- First Place: Hidden Fees
A precision platform designed for restaurant owners that provides detailed analysis for each menu item. It helps uncover hidden inefficiencies and identifies which delivery platforms or services may be consuming profits. - Second Place: Movo
An analytics platform for fleet management that assesses driver behavior. It predicts the risk of increased operating expenses by directly linking potential costs to specific driving habits and patterns. - Third Place: Fleetec
A SaaS operational platform built for delivery companies that work with food delivery applications. Fleetec replaces manual and fragmented methods like Excel files, WhatsApp messages, and paper records with a unified system that automates data entry and provides real-time insights.The winning teams received awards and recognition, with opportunities to explore future collaborations and potential implementation of their solutions.
