Innovation Community Membership Overview
The KICs initiative is designed to bridge the gap between Academia and Industry in Lebanon by creating vibrant communities focused on ICT, Healthcare, and Agrifood. Members will work together to foster innovation, enable knowledge transfer, and address sector-specific challenges through strategic partnerships and collaboration. The KICs hold monthly meetings to review activities and progress toward their strategic goals.

Eligibility Criteria
Membership is open to individuals and organizations that meet the following criteria:
- Focus: Focused on Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Agrifood, or Healthcare sectors.
- Expertise: Must have a strong track record and demonstrated expertise in the relevant KIC sector.
- Commitment: Expected to actively participate and contribute to the KIC’s objectives and activities.
- Open To: Academia, industry, business support organizations, and government representatives.
- Multiple KICs: Members with relevant expertise can join more than one KIC, provided they can actively and meaningfully contribute to each.
Selection Process
KICs members will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Sectorial and innovation expertise.
- Demonstrated level of commitment to contributing to the Communities’ objectives and activities.
- A strong network with local and international reach.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to join a “Train of Trainers” event happening at the end of January.
