M Empire Angels And Foras.ai Launch EXPAND To Drive International Growth For Local Startups in Egypt

4 Min Read

Esteemed Egyptian entrepreneurs Majed Ghorneima, founder of M Empire Angels, and Mohamed Aboulnaga (Negaty), head of Foras.ai, have announced a strategic partnership to launch a new company, EXPAND. The venture aims to empower successful Egyptian startups to scale beyond the local market and penetrate regional and global arenas.

The landmark agreement was signed during the RiseUp Summit 2026, signaling a strong commitment from both parties to bolster the Egyptian entrepreneurial ecosystem and enhance its international presence.

A Strategic Alliance Forged for Global Reach

EXPAND is designed to serve as a launchpad for Egyptian companies that have already achieved product-market fit and demonstrated sustainable business models locally. The initiative will provide the strategic, operational, and networking support necessary for these companies to navigate the complexities of international expansion.

“We believe that Egypt has a generation of startups that have proven their ability to produce and compete within the local market, achieving tangible success with strong products and sustainable business models,” stated Majed Ghorneima. “From here came the idea of launching EXPAND to be a real launching pad for these companies towards globality.”

The new venture will be led by Mohamed Hashem, who will leverage the extensive networks and accumulated expertise of both Foras.ai and M Empire Angels to help startups enter new markets with confidence and efficiency.

Empowering Post-Seed Startups for International Markets

Ghorneima emphasized that EXPAND will focus on companies that have moved beyond the foundational stage. It will offer an integrated suite of services, including strategic consulting, partnership development, and comprehensive support for international expansion plans.

“Our goal is to see Egyptian companies compete globally and carry the ‘Made in Egypt’ brand to multiple markets,” Ghorneima added. “Through this alliance, we unite expertise, capital, and international relations to create a real and sustainable growth path for promising companies.”

A $100 Million Export Target in AI and Hardware

Mohamed Aboulnaga Negaty highlighted Egypt’s potential to become a regional hub for exporting high-value technology, particularly in artificial intelligence and hardware solutions. He noted that a country proficient in exporting industrial, agricultural, and service products is equally capable of exporting advanced technology.

Negaty explained that EXPAND aims to create an integrated export product in the AI and hardware sectors that can be marketed across various international markets, thereby strengthening Egypt’s position in global technology value chains.

He revealed that the strategic plan for the next three years includes a bold target of achieving $100 million in exports within this vital sector.
