The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, the Abu Dhabi Government’s official channel for social contributions, has signed a strategic agreement with Waha Capital, an Abu Dhabi-listed investment management company. The partnership aims to jointly advance and support a variety of community-led social projects across the Emirate.
A Strategic Alliance For Social Progress
This collaboration underscores a shared commitment from both organizations to support Abu Dhabi’s social priorities. The agreement will focus on channelling contributions towards key sectors including education, health, environment, infrastructure, and social services.
Priority will be given to projects within the social, health, wellness, humanitarian, and environmental sectors, ensuring alignment with the shared values and strategic goals of both Ma’an and Waha Capital.

Eng. Abdullah Humaid Al Ameri, Director-General of Ma’an, highlighted the importance of such collaborations. “Partnerships are at the heart of our work at the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an. Through this collaboration, we will utilise the generous contribution to empower partners to lead and deliver major programmes and initiatives that address social priorities.”
He added, “We will shine a light on the impact partnerships can achieve in amplifying social impact, promoting community development and building a cooperative society.”
