Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, Monsha’at, has organised a series of legal meetings to connect Saudi entrepreneurs with legal professionals from the Saudi Bar Association. The initiative, held as part of the “Law Week” event at the SME Support Center in Jeddah, aims to provide founders with crucial legal expertise to navigate the business landscape.
Bridging the Legal Gap for Entrepreneurs
The event provided a platform for direct legal consultations and dialogue sessions covering critical topics for startups and SMEs. Key areas of focus included the role of legal counsel in entrepreneurship, personal data protection in commercial and labour contracts, and best practices for handling disputes in commercial agreements. The sessions also explored the primary challenges and opportunities within the legal sector for new businesses.
Fostering a Founder-Friendly Environment
The Law Week initiative is an extension of Monsha’at’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the national business environment. By facilitating access to expert legal and financial solutions, the authority aims to equip entrepreneurs with the practical knowledge and innovative tools needed for sustainable growth.
Aligning with Saudi Vision 2030
This program directly supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. By organising such consultations, Monsha’at works to cultivate a vibrant culture of entrepreneurship, empower founders, and improve the overall ecosystem, making it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises to thrive.
