Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, Monsha’at, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nest Accelerator to enhance strategic cooperation across several key areas. The agreement was finalized during the Biban 2025 forum, held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
The partnership aims to support the international expansion of Saudi startups, with a specific focus on empowering the Kingdom’s female entrepreneurs and strengthening their presence in European and North African markets.
A Strategic Push for Global Reach
Under the terms of the MoU, both Monsha’at and Nest Accelerator will collaborate on exchanging expertise, knowledge, and promotional resources. A central goal is to elevate Saudi Arabia’s profile on the global stage by providing local entrepreneurs with direct access to international networks.
This initiative is designed to reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, directly aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to foster innovation and diversify the national economy. The collaboration was formalized by Shatha Al-Saeed, Director General of Entrepreneurship Planning at Monsha’at, and Lamia Hanafi, CEO and Founder of Nest Accelerator.
Fostering a Collaborative Ecosystem
The agreement outlines plans for coordinating joint events and programs, as well as exploring strategic partnerships to further develop the entrepreneurial landscape. By combining their resources, Monsha’at and Nest Accelerator will work to enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to achieve sustainable growth and scale their operations both regionally and internationally.
The signing took place at Biban 2025, one of the region’s most prominent forums for entrepreneurs and SMEs, which serves as a critical platform for fostering collaboration, investment, and growth within the Kingdom’s startup ecosystem.
