Done.ma, a Moroccan technology startup founded in 2024, has successfully closed a seed funding round of $2.1 million (approximately 21 million MAD). The investment, supported by local investors and business angels, will fuel the company’s ambitious project to launch Morocco’s first integrated Super App and accelerate its national expansion.
Building Morocco’s Super App Ecosystem
Done aims to centralize a wide array of digital services into a single, intuitive platform, inspired by successful Asian models like Grab. The vision for the Super App includes combining essential services such as meal delivery, local commerce, mobile payments, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options, and access to a network of online “Done Stores.” By building this comprehensive ecosystem, Done intends to position Morocco at the forefront of a Super App market in the Middle East and Africa that is projected to exceed $30 billion by 2030.
Impressive Traction and Growth
In less than two years since its launch, Done has demonstrated significant operational capacity and market penetration. The company is already active in eight regions across the Kingdom, supported by a team of over 90 employees. It has built a robust logistics network with more than 500 delivery drivers and has onboarded over 1,000 partners from the restaurant and retail sectors, signaling strong market demand for integrated digital solutions.
Fueling National Expansion
The newly secured capital will be instrumental in scaling Done’s operations. The startup plans to deploy its services in more than ten major Moroccan cities, enhance its product roadmap, and further strengthen its logistics infrastructure. A key part of its mission is to support job creation and improve access to digital services, particularly in underserved regions, thereby contributing to broader financial and technological inclusion across the country.
