Morocco Bolsters Youth Entrepreneurship Through Orange Corners Masterclass

3 Min Read

An intensive masterclass held at ESLSCA Business School in Rabat recently brought together students from across Morocco, providing them with the essential skills to launch and scale impactful ventures. The event was a key initiative by Orange Corners, designed to equip the next generation of Moroccan innovators with practical knowledge, mentorship, and a clear roadmap for their entrepreneurial journey.

From Ideation to Impact

The masterclass provided a comprehensive framework for building a business, guiding attendees through each stage from initial concept to a concrete project. The curriculum focused on equipping young entrepreneurs with the tools and mindset required to refine their ideas and build sustainable companies that drive both social and economic change.

Life skills consultant Hind Azelmat, who delivered a session at the event, emphasized the importance of a foundational mindset. “My part of the event tackled the entrepreneurship mindset that entrepreneurs have to adopt to launch their project or to start their entrepreneurial journey and also how our projects will have economic and social impact,” Azelmat explained.

Fostering a New Wave of Community Leaders

The program also stressed the development of leadership qualities and confidence. By taking students through the entire venture creation process—from ideation and prototyping to crafting a final business plan—the workshop aimed to empower them to become catalysts for change within their communities.

Mountassir Moad, former president of JCI Rabat, highlighted this objective. The workshop provided “the essential skills to be confident in creating change and to be a leader in the community,” he stated.

A Collaborative Push for Moroccan Innovation

The masterclass was the result of a strategic collaboration between several key ecosystem players. Orange Corners, an initiative of the Netherlands Embassy, was the main organizer, working alongside Bidaya Incubator, JCI Rabat, MMC, and ESLSCA Business School Rabat. Organizers have framed the workshop as a foundational step in a broader movement to cultivate and support Morocco’s emerging entrepreneurial talent.
