The Regional Directorate of Agriculture in the Marrakech-Safi region has officially launched the training bootcamp for the NOVA Digital Hubs program, an initiative designed to empower the next gneration of Moroccan entrepreneurs at the intersection of technology and agriculture.

Hosted at the Regional Center for Young Entrepreneurs in Agriculture and Agri-Food (CRJEA), the program is a collaborative effort between the non-profit organization TechnoServe and is supported by The Coca-Cola Foundation. Its primary objective is to equip young entrepreneurs with essential digital skills and provide them with the technical tools needed to develop and scale their ventures.

Bridging Theory and Practice

The NOVA program features an intensive 15-day training camp that employs a hybrid model, combining both theoretical knowledge and practical application. Participants gain access to a specialized digital platform that offers a curriculum of training courses and exclusive workshops led by industry experts.

This hands-on approach is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience, ensuring that entrepreneurs are not only learning concepts but also applying them directly to their projects.

Cultivating a Digital Agricultural Ecosystem

Beyond individual skill development, the NOVA program aims to build an integrated support system for income-generating projects, helping to transform entrepreneurial ideas into tangible economic realities.

Supervisors of the program have emphasized the importance of fostering a strong network among young entrepreneurs. By encouraging the exchange of experiences and knowledge, the initiative seeks to facilitate the digital transformation of Morocco’s agricultural sector, contributing to the fight against economic fragility and promoting sustainable development in the region.
