CIH Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) are set to host a specialized training program in Casablanca on December 19-20, 2025, designed to bolster innovation and entrepreneurship among young Moroccans. The initiative will bring together approximately fifty young founders of emerging startups for an intensive two-day bootcamp.
The event, held at the LionsGeek headquarters in Morocco’s economic capital, is part of the EBRD’s regional “Youth in Business” program, which aims to empower young entrepreneurs through comprehensive training, mentorship, and hands-on support.

A Hands-On Approach to Skill Development

Participants will engage in a practical training curriculum that combines applied workshops, real-world business simulations, and personalized coaching sessions led by both Moroccan and international experts. The program is structured to focus on core business pillars, including strategy, leadership, and enterprise management.

Each entrepreneur will receive individualized support to help them structure their business models, refine their operational strategies, and enhance their practical skills, ensuring they gain tangible experience applicable to their ventures.

Strategic Collaboration for Ecosystem Growth

This initiative is delivered in collaboration with the organization AI in Africa and draws inspiration from successful programs previously implemented across Eastern Europe and the Balkan region. It employs an interactive, application-focused approach to guarantee that participants acquire concrete, actionable expertise.

By connecting young founders with key players in the national entrepreneurial ecosystem, the program aims to cultivate a stimulating environment for innovation and business creation in Morocco.

Deepening Commitment to Youth-Led SMEs

The program underscores CIH Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting youth and entrepreneurial ventures. The bank actively leverages its extensive network and deep industry expertise to support project holders.

This partnership is further strengthened by a €20 million financing agreement signed in 2023 between CIH Bank and the EBRD. The agreement is dedicated to facilitating access to finance for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) led by young entrepreneurs, thereby boosting economic inclusion and growth.
