Diverse Cohort Reflects Sector-Agnostic Growth
The latest iteration of the programme brings together a wide cross-section of Omani founders operating across distinct verticals. Moving beyond traditional retail and hospitality, the 2026 class includes high-growth tech plays such as Wing Tech, a venture specializing in aerial and drone technologies led by Hazza bin Salem Al-Jahmani, and Sayyar App, a smart mobility platform founded by Omar Talib Al-Ghafri.
The cohort also features robust service and manufacturing concepts. Creative Packaging International, steered by Muhannad Musa Al-Hanai, focuses on commercial packaging solutions, while Bin Omaira Labs provides localized medical laboratory services under Muntadhar Sharaf Al-Musawi.
Rounding out the group are ventures across tourism, agriculture, and retail, including Round in Oman, Zulfa Centre for Psychological & Family Counselling, Abu Al-Reesh, Vitamin Cup Juices, SRT, Salis World, Al Jawhara Rest House, and Dubal.
Strategic Capacity Building Under Imtidad
Designed to offer more than just capital, the SME Growth Programme focuses heavily on operational efficiency and financial resilience. Participating founders undergo a structured development track utilizing Sharakah’s industry-certified Business Performance Monitoring Tool (BPMT).
The curriculum delivers targeted mentorship, advisory support, and workshops designed to optimize marketing strategies and financial planning. By identifying operational bottlenecks early, the program aims to position these 12 businesses for sustainable domestic and regional scaling.
Tariq Al-Farsi, Chief Executive Officer of National Finance, emphasized the strategic intent behind the accelerator-style program.
“The SME Growth Programme under Imtidad continues to demonstrate our long-term commitment to empowering Omani entrepreneurs,” said Al-Farsi. “With each edition, we aim to provide practical tools and meaningful mentorship that enable SMEs to build resilience and compete confidently in evolving markets.”
Ali Ahmed Muqaibal, CEO of Sharakah, echoed the focus on measurable development metrics.
“Our partnership with National Finance reflects a shared vision of nurturing capable and future-ready businesses. The fifth edition brings forward a new group of ambitious entrepreneurs, and we look forward to supporting them with structured guidance and measurable impact,” Muqaibal noted.
The initiative aligns directly with the economic diversification targets outlined in Oman Vision 2040, which places a heavy emphasis on private sector job creation and SME empowerment.
