Oman Boosts Regional Presence With 32-Company Delegation At Saudi’s Biban 2025

A delegation of 32 Omani companies is set to participate in Biban 2025, a leading entrepreneurship forum in Riyadh organised by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at). The event, taking place from November 5–8 under the theme “A Global Destination for Opportunities,” will serve as a critical platform for Omani innovators and brands to connect with regional and global ecosystems.

A Two-Pronged Strategy for Growth

The Omani contingent is strategically divided to maximize impact. Twenty startups will be featured within the “Startups Gate,” an area designed to connect emerging Omani tech companies with a broad network of investors, partners, and potential clients. A further 12 established Omani brands will participate in the “Franchise Gate,” with the clear objective of securing expansion deals and forging high-value partnerships across Gulf and international markets. This dual approach allows both early-stage and mature businesses to pursue their specific growth objectives on a prominent regional stage.

Aligning with Oman Vision 2040

The participating companies represent key sectors such as artificial intelligence, mobility, technology, and telecommunications. This focus is in direct alignment with the strategic priorities of Oman Vision 2040, which emphasizes private-sector growth, the development of exports, and the international expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Their presence at Biban 2025 underscores a national commitment to fostering innovation and integrating Omani businesses into the global economy.

Tapping Into a Global Platform

Biban 2025 provides an unparalleled opportunity for the Omani delegation. The forum is expected to host delegates from over 150 countries, featuring more than 200 local and international speakers and gathering over 1,000 exhibitors. This creates a dense marketplace for networking, deal-making, and investment. The forum will also host the finals of the 2025 Entrepreneurship World Cup, where 100 projects from 46 countries will compete for prizes exceeding $1.5 million, drawing significant attention from global investors and industry leaders.
