Customers and partners in the Sultanate donated OMR 555,404.79 through the platform’s in-app feature, showcasing a powerful combination of national generosity and the growing adoption of tech-driven social impact.

The report highlights talabat’s growing role as one of the largest digital charity aggregators in the MENA region. In the third quarter of 2025 alone, the ‘Giving Back’ program successfully raised €1.4 million and delivered over 330,000 meals across its markets. Oman’s contribution represents nearly a quarter of all regional donations, underscoring its pivotal role in the initiative’s success.
Oman’s Digital Shift In Charitable Giving
The impressive figures from Oman, generated by 60,091 participants, signal a significant trend towards digital-first approaches to charitable contributions. This shift aligns with evolving consumer behaviors and the increasing integration of social good into digital ecosystems.
Stéphane Berton, Managing Director of talabat Oman, commented on the results, stating that Oman’s contribution “reflects a clear shift toward a more digital and future-ready approach to giving.” The program enables users to seamlessly support various causes directly within the app.

In Oman, the program’s impact is channeled through a network of eight local charity partners, which has so far facilitated 8,901 meal donations. This localized effort is part of a wider regional strategy that includes talabat’s expanded ‘Together for Gaza’ initiative, aimed at bolstering humanitarian relief efforts across multiple markets.
