The Moroccan entrepreneurship landscape reached a new milestone with the conclusion of the La Caravane Orange Corners selection bootcamp, held in Fez on February 7–8, 2026. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 15 high-potential startups were selected from an initial pool of 306 applicants to join the specialized Agri Cohort. This initiative, implemented locally by Incubateur Bidaya, focuses on driving innovation within the agribusiness sector, specifically targeting projects rooted in the Fès-Meknès region and impactful initiatives from across the Kingdom.
Accelerating Agricultural Innovation Through Strategic Incubation
The selected 15 startups are now embarking on a comprehensive five-month incubation journey designed to refine their business models and scale their impact. The program offers a structured blend of thematic training, tailored one-on-one support, and sector-specific mentorship. This curriculum is engineered to address the unique challenges of the Moroccan agricultural market, ensuring that entrepreneurs can transition from conceptual solutions to commercially viable operations that enhance food security and rural development.
Financial Support and Collaborative Ecosystem Development
Beyond technical guidance, the program provides essential financial support to bridge the funding gap for early-stage agri-tech ventures. Supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, the initiative offers participants access to 0% interest loans and grants. Upon completion of the five-month cycle, three to five exceptional startups will be distinguished to receive additional funding, providing the necessary capital to accelerate the deployment of their high-impact solutions across Morocco’s agricultural value chain.
Cross-Sector Support For Regional Impact
The selection process was supported by a multidisciplinary jury featuring representatives from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture in Meknès, the Food Technology Hall of Meknès, and StartUp Maroc. This collaborative approach ensures that the startups receive feedback from both technical agricultural experts and seasoned business mentors. By centering the program in Fès-Meknès, the initiative directly supports one of Morocco’s most vital agricultural hubs, fostering a localized ecosystem that can serve as a blueprint for regional digital and technical transformation.
