Orange Corners Morocco Selects Fifteen Startups For The 2026 Agri Cohort

The Orange Corners Morocco initiative has officially kicked off its 2026 Agri Cohort following an intensive selection bootcamp held in Fez. The program, which focuses on fostering innovation within the agricultural sector, narrowed down a competitive pool of 306 applicants to 15 high-potential startups. These selected entrepreneurs will now undergo a rigorous incubation process designed to scale impact-driven solutions across the Fès-Meknès region and the wider Moroccan landscape.

A Competitive Selection Process in Fez

The selection phase concluded after 36 shortlisted projects pitched their business models to a multidisciplinary jury at the O’work Hub. The evaluation panel included experts from the Embassy of the Netherlands, the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture in Meknès, and specialized agri-tech mentors. This rigorous vetting ensured that the 15 chosen startups demonstrate both technical viability and the potential to address critical challenges within the Moroccan agribusiness ecosystem.

Strategic Incubation and Financial Support

The selected startups are entering a five-month incubation journey managed by Incubateur Bidaya. the curriculum is structured to provide a blend of thematic training, tailored one-on-one coaching, and sector-specific mentorship. Beyond professional guidance, the program includes integrated financial support to accelerate the deployment of agricultural technologies. Upon completion of the five-month term, three to five standout startups will be eligible for additional funding through a combination of grants and honorary loans to further catalyze their growth.

Collaborative Ecosystem Development

The initiative is a collaborative effort supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. By partnering with local entities such as the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and the Food Technology Hall of Meknès, Orange Corners ensures that the entrepreneurs are deeply integrated into the local value chain. This regional focus in Fès-Meknès aims to modernize traditional agricultural practices through digital and sustainable innovation, reinforcing Morocco’s position as a hub for agri-tech in the MENA region.
