Orange Corners South Sudan has successfully concluded its recent Market Day, transforming its hub in Juba City into a bustling center for local commerce and innovation. Held in collaboration with Bargain Bazaar SSD, the event served as a platform to connect the capital’s community directly with the region’s emerging youth-led enterprises.

Showcasing Local Innovation

The event featured 35 diverse vendors, comprising alumni from previous programs and participants from the current Cohort 3. The hub showcased a wide array of high-quality, locally produced goods, highlighting the entrepreneurial potential within South Sudan.

Offerings ranged from handcrafted jewelry and crochet items to African fashion, cosmetics, and skincare products. The marketplace also featured fresh juices, honey, authentic homemade food, health and safety items, and sustainable packaging solutions, drawing a large number of customers from across Juba.

Strategic Collaboration For Growth

Led by Juliana Siapai, an Orange Corners Cohort 2 graduate and recipient of the Excellent Badge, the event underscored the power of strategic partnerships in the ecosystem. The initiative was supported by the BizEx Ltd team and the Bargain Bazaar team, whose collaboration was vital in executing the event. By creating physical spaces for commerce, the program continues to bridge the gap between local innovators and the broader market, driving visibility and revenue for early-stage founders.
