Dubai-based fintech Ottu has announced a strategic agreement with global payments leader Mastercard to simplify and scale digital commerce for businesses operating across the GCC. The collaboration aims to provide enterprises with seamless access to a wide array of local payment methods through a single integration.
A Single Gateway to GCC Payments
Through this partnership, Ottu will integrate Mastercard Merchant Cloud, a powerful platform that offers a single connection to over 200 acquirers and acceptance at more than 110 million locations worldwide. This will directly benefit businesses in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman by enabling them to accept both local and international payment methods without the complexity of multiple integrations.
The move is set to empower regional and global enterprises looking to expand their footprint in the GCC, streamlining their payment infrastructure and improving the checkout experience for their customers.
