Integrating Smart Transport with EdTech
The new partnerships will see PITS integrating its specialized expertise in smart transportation and student tracking with global School Management Platforms. By merging logistics technology with educational management systems, the company aims to provide customized, integrated solutions designed to make school operations safer and more efficient.
This move represents a strategic pivot for the company, taking its core competencies in vehicle tracking and applying them to a high-demand vertical—student safety and school logistics—on an international scale. The expansion demonstrates the growing capacity of Palestinian tech firms to deliver specialized, export-ready solutions that address global market needs.
Accelerating Palestinian Tech
PITS’ global breakthrough was supported by the TechStart program, a strategic initiative designed to boost the Palestinian IT sector. The program provided the necessary support to help PITS refine its offering and access international markets.
TechStart is a $30 million project funded by the World Bank, the European Union, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and the Government of the Netherlands. Implemented by DAI, it aims to increase economic opportunities for IT service firms in the West Bank and Gaza by improving capabilities, developing the ecosystem, and facilitating market access.
