Presight, a leading Abu Dhabi-based AI and big data analytics company, celebrated the significant achievements of its inaugural AI-Startup Accelerator cohort at the opening day of Expand North Star 2025. The program has successfully transformed cutting-edge AI innovations into scalable, market-ready solutions across key sectors including smart cities, fintech, energy, and cybersecurity, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a hub for applied AI.
From Concept to Commercial Success
Since its launch, the first cohort has generated more than 70 qualified commercial and strategic leads, with several participating startups now in advanced partnership and contract discussions with major industry and government clients in the UAE and internationally. This rapid progress highlights the accelerator’s effectiveness in bridging the gap between innovative technology and market deployment.

Building a Symbiotic AI Ecosystem
Presight’s vision extends beyond individual startup success to fostering a self-sustaining ecosystem for growth. Pramotedham emphasized this goal, describing the accelerator as a “Symbiotic Growth Engine that propels startups toward scale and sustained market impact.” Many of the cohort’s startups are already collaborating with companies within the G42 ecosystem, including Core42, Astra Tech, and CPX, progressing through proof-of-concept stages and exploring strategic partnerships that convert innovation into measurable results. This integrated approach ensures startups receive not just mentorship but direct access to commercial networks.
Fueling Future Innovators with a $100M Fund
A key pillar of Presight’s strategy is the Presight–Shorooq Fund I, a $100 million global AI fund designed to back high-impact ventures. The fund provides capital, infrastructure, and commercial pathways to help startups scale globally from the UAE. At Expand North Star, Presight and Shorooq are actively identifying the next wave of AI innovators for potential investment. In addition to its role as the Official AI Accelerator of the event, Presight is also contributing as a judge in the Supernova Challenge Pitch Competition, further cementing its commitment to discovering and nurturing transformative startups.
