Qatar Digital Incubation Center Partners With Ibtikar To Supercharge Startup Programs

The Digital Incubation Center (DIC), operating under Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), has announced a strategic agreement with Ibtikar Digital Solutions. The partnership, supported by AlchemistX and Innovation Foundry, is set to develop and execute new operational frameworks for the DIC’s programs, aiming to bolster the innovation and digital entrepreneurship landscape in Qatar.

The agreement was officially signed by Ms. Eman Al Kuwari, Director of the Digital Innovation Department at MCIT, and Mr. Nayef Al-Ibrahim, Co-founder and CEO of Ibtikar.

A Strategic Push for Digital Entrepreneurship

This collaboration is a key part of the Ministry’s efforts to create a fertile ground for tech startups to thrive, directly contributing to the nation’s economic diversification goals.

“This agreement aims to empower Qatari youth and innovators, helping them transform their ideas into successful projects that contribute to a diverse and sustainable digital economy,” stated Ms. Eman Al Kuwari.

She added that the partnership represents a practical step towards strengthening the country’s digital business environment by providing startups with the technical support, mentorship, and collaboration opportunities they need to grow and turn promising ideas into projects capable of competing regionally and globally.

Designing Founder-Focused Programs

Ibtikar will leverage its specialized expertise to design and implement impactful programs tailored to the needs of early-stage tech companies within the DIC’s portfolio.

“This agreement marks a pivotal moment for Ibtikar as we lend our specialized expertise in developing entrepreneurial programs and initiatives to serve the startups incubated at the DIC,” said Mr. Nayef Al-Ibrahim. “Through this collaboration, we will work to design and implement practical programs that help entrepreneurs develop strong business models, test their products, and access customers and markets faster and more effectively.”

The partnership is a significant step toward accelerating digital innovation and aligns with the core pillars of Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030.
