In a significant advancement for its national digital transformation agenda, Qatar’s Ministry of Labour (MoL) has announced a major expansion of its integrated digital services platform. The e-portal now offers more than 325 online services, streamlining administrative processes for employers and workers across the country.
Driving Digital Adoption
The platform’s success is underscored by its rapid adoption rate. According to the ministry, over 250,000 transactions were successfully completed through the digital gateway in the past month alone. This surge in usage highlights a growing reliance on efficient online government services and reflects the platform’s effectiveness in meeting the needs of its users.
A 24/7 Gateway for Efficiency
Designed to enhance convenience and accessibility, the MoL’s e-portal operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This allows users to complete a wide array of labour-related transactions at their convenience, eliminating the need for physical visits to service centres. The initiative significantly improves service efficiency, making interactions with the ministry faster and more straightforward.
Aligning with National Strategy
This milestone is a key component of Qatar’s broader national strategy to enhance public service delivery through a unified digital infrastructure. By digitizing its services, the Ministry of Labour is contributing to a more efficient and accessible governmental framework, simplifying procedures for the entire business ecosystem, from large corporations to individual employees.
