The collaboration aims to accelerate the modernization of the events industry by integrating advanced technology with on-the-ground operational expertise.
This partnership is set to expand the network of users and suppliers on the Mila platform, capitalizing on the rapid digital transformation sweeping the local market, heavily supported by Saudi Vision 2030.
Tapping a Multi-Billion Dollar Market
The Kingdom’s event management market is a significant and rapidly growing sector. According to a report by IMARC Group, the market is currently valued at approximately $9.5 billion and is projected to exceed $19 billion by 2033.
Underscoring the scale of this opportunity, data from the General Entertainment Authority reveals that events across Saudi Arabia attracted more than 72 million visitors in 2023 alone, highlighting the immense potential for tech-driven solutions in the industry.
A Vision for a Seamless Experience
Mohamed Gharbal, Co-founder and CEO of Mila Celebrations, emphasized that the collaboration is “more than just a financial investment.” He explained that the primary goal is to reshape the event planning experience to be more connected and seamless through a single application that “combines smart technology and operational experience to deliver an integrated experience.”
On behalf of Rodyan, CEO Mohammed Al-Salman noted that the key attraction was Mila’s platform, which “enables the client to manage all event details—from idea to execution—in a digital experience supported by artificial intelligence.” He added that this approach “shifts event organization from manual work to a faster, more efficient model.”

Leveraging Rodyan’s deep local market expertise and its own flexible tech infrastructure, Mila Celebrations has set ambitious goals. Through this partnership, the company aims to more than double its annual bookings by over 200% and expand its network of partners by more than 100% by 2026.
