The Global Investors Forum (GIF 2025) in Tbilisi, Georgia, has concluded with the launch of the Saudi-Georgian Investment Platform, a landmark initiative designed to deepen economic collaboration between the Gulf and Eurasian markets. The new platform establishes a formal framework to facilitate bilateral investment flows and support joint ventures across several key growth sectors.

A Strategic Bridge Between Regions

The platform was officially announced in the presence of key business leaders from both nations, including Ahmed Al Dakheel, Chairman of the Saudi-Georgian Business Council; George Svanidze, Founder of Petra Group; and Ahmed Al Areej, Chairman of World Luxury Group. Other prominent figures included Dr Tasyir Al Khunaizi, Partner and Deputy CEO of the Georgia Saudi Investment Corporation, and Dr Sadeddine Mneimne, Chairman of AGI Holding and the Global Investors Forum.
This agreement marks a pivotal milestone, creating an institutional structure to support joint projects in high-potential industries such as tourism and hospitality, health and wellness, agriculture, and logistics. The platform is structured as a joint commercial venture between Saudi and Georgian business leaders, with a clear governance model to ensure a secure and transparent environment for investors.

Unlocking Cross-Continental Opportunities

Ahmed Al Areej, Chairman of World Luxury Group, highlighted the platform’s immediate potential, stating that it aims to strengthen economic and cultural ties by launching a ready-made investment portfolio worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The portfolio will encompass tourism, wellness, and development projects in both Saudi Arabia and Georgia.
Al Areej noted that Georgia offers significant natural resources and vast opportunities in property development, while Saudi Arabia’s economic leadership in mining, energy, and tourism creates an ideal synergy. This integration presents a unique opportunity for joint projects that deliver shared strategic value.

The Vision Behind GIF

Dr Sadeddine Mneimne, Chairman of AGI Holding and the Global Investors Forum, emphasized the forum’s core mission to act as a bridge connecting East and West. He described GIF as a vision that unites governments, investors, and innovators to build a future defined by partnerships rather than geography.
“My commitment to this forum is clear: to build a platform that does not stop at its current boundaries but continues to evolve and expand until it becomes a global engine for creating opportunities and shaping the economies of tomorrow,” he stated.
Reflecting its growing international footprint, it was also announced that the 2026 edition of the Global Investors Forum will take place across four new destinations: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the Dominican Republic.
