Saudi Arabia’s AI Ambitions Take Center Stage at High-Level Riyadh Forum

4 Min Read

Global AI innovators, enterprise leaders, and key ecosystem stakeholders convened in Riyadh for a high-level forum hosted by Incorpify AI in collaboration with Plug and Play Saudi Arabia. The event reinforced the Kingdom’s accelerating role as a global hub for artificial intelligence and its commitment to a comprehensive digital transformation agenda.

From Experimentation to Execution

Held at The Garage – Majlis, the exclusive dialogue was designed to move the conversation around AI beyond experimentation and toward practical, large-scale deployment. The forum, led by Incorpify AI’s CEO and Co-Founder Luca Rubino and Co-Founder and COO Kai Schildauer, focused on how intelligent platforms can reduce complexity, enhance governance, and enable scalable decision-making in highly regulated and fast-evolving environments.

“Saudi Arabia is demonstrating how ambition and execution can move in parallel,” said Luca Rubino, CEO of Incorpify AI. “The conversations today reflect a market that is no longer asking whether to adopt AI, but how to deploy it responsibly and at scale. This is exactly where Incorpify AI positions itself, bridging innovation with operational reality.”

A Convergence of Public and Private Sector Leaders

A central panel discussion brought together senior leaders from government, venture capital, and enterprise technology to address AI adoption across institutional and commercial contexts. The panel featured Afnan Ababtain, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Director at the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA); Homam Meaddawi, General Partner at Khwarizmi Ventures; and Faisal Alessa of Technology Control Company (TCC), alongside Luca Rubino.

Discussions spanned investment readiness, the necessity of public-private collaboration, regulatory alignment, and the infrastructure required to scale intelligent systems sustainably within the Kingdom.

Abdullah Alakeel, Managing Director of Plug and Play Saudi Arabia, commented, “Saudi Arabia’s AI ecosystem is maturing rapidly, driven by collaboration between government, corporates, and technology builders. Events like this are critical to connecting global innovation with local execution and ensuring that AI delivers measurable impact across industries.”

Aligning Innovation with Vision 2030

The forum’s emphasis on responsible AI adoption, system interoperability, and embedding governance into platforms from inception aligns directly with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. By hosting the event, Incorpify AI and Plug and Play reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s innovation agenda as it continues to invest in advanced technologies, attract global talent, and position itself as a leader in the knowledge-based economy.
