Saudi Arabia-based proptech startup Ghanem has successfully closed a $7.1 million funding round led by Al-Romaih Group. The company, which specializes in fractional real estate ownership, aims to democratize property investment across the Kingdom by making it more accessible, transparent, and flexible for a diverse range of investors.

Founded in 2025 by Saleh Al-Ghamdi and Amr Essam, Ghanem operates a digital platform designed to lower the entry barriers traditionally associated with real estate, empowering both individuals and institutions to participate in the market.

A Mission to Democratize Property Investment

Ghanem’s core mission is to transform the real estate investment landscape in Saudi Arabia. By offering fractional ownership solutions, the platform allows multiple investors to co-own a single property, significantly reducing the capital required to enter the market. This model is designed to enhance transparency and flexibility, providing new opportunities for a broader investor base.

The platform operates under the regulatory oversight of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) Regulatory Sandbox. This alignment with government bodies strengthens investor confidence and underscores Ghanem’s commitment to upholding high standards of governance and compliance.

Strategic Funding for Expansion and Innovation

The new capital injection from Al-Romaih Group, a prominent investment firm with deep experience in the real estate and financial sectors, will be instrumental in fueling Ghanem’s next phase of growth. The funds are earmarked for accelerating expansion plans, developing new products, and advancing the platform’s technology to enhance the user experience.

Saleh Al-Ghamdi, CEO and Co-Founder of Ghanem, commented on the partnership, stating, “This investment will help us expand our product offerings, advance our technology, and strengthen our market presence, contributing to the realization of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and broadening the base of real estate investment in the Kingdom.”

This strategic partnership is expected to increase the depth and diversity of investment opportunities within the Saudi real estate sector, aligning with national goals to develop and modernize the industry.
