Doos, the Saudi-based quick-commerce platform, has announced a strategic investment from Jahez International Company for Information Systems Technology (Jahez). The deal, led by the Tadawul-listed on-demand services ecosystem, is aimed at accelerating Doos’s expansion and growth within the Saudi market.

Jahez Expands Beyond Food Delivery

This investment aligns with Jahez’s broader vision to expand its tech ecosystem beyond its core food delivery services. By entering the rapidly growing q-commerce sector, Jahez aims to integrate its powerful infrastructure with Doos’s curated product offerings and advanced delivery network to serve Saudi households.

Ghassab bin Mandil, CEO of Jahez, stated, “This strategic investment aligns with our vision to expand the Jahez ecosystem beyond food delivery and create sustainable value across our different sectors. The q-commerce sector is rapidly evolving, and we see great opportunities for value creation by combining Jahez’s scale and strong tech ecosystem with Doos’s customer-centric operating model.”

A Curated Platform for the Saudi Household

Founded in Jeddah in 2023 by entrepreneur Tala Al-Sohsah, Doos seeks to redefine daily shopping. The platform operates dark stores in Jeddah and Riyadh, with plans for kingdom-wide expansion. It offers a single, easy-to-use app for supermarket products, fresh fruits and vegetables, cosmetics, gifts, and a curated selection of trendy local and international items.

“Doos is not just a fast-delivery platform; it is a carefully curated experience that keeps pace with trends and deeply understands the needs of the Saudi family,” said Tala Al-Sohsah, Founder and CEO of Doos. “We ensure every product and every category is chosen with care to offer high quality and variety that suits all family members, while maintaining ease of use and an authentic local identity.”
