In a landmark move for Saudi Arabia’s technology sector, QSS AI & Robotics, the Kingdom’s leading robotics and artificial intelligence company, has partnered with UK-based Humanoid to launch the Middle East’s first dedicated humanoid robotics showroom in Riyadh. The launch represents a significant step in localising advanced technologies and accelerating AI innovation across the region.
A Gateway to the Future of Automation
Named the Humanoid Lounge, the showroom provides an immersive experience into the future of automation. Visitors, including business leaders and tech professionals, can witness live demonstrations, participate in educational workshops, and interact directly with the latest generation of humanoid robots.
The opening featured a live simulation and teleoperation demonstration by HMND 01 Alpha Wheeled, the UK’s first industrial humanoid robot. Attendees were given a unique opportunity to experience human-robot interaction through a “talk to a robot” feature, showcasing the practical applications and intuitive interface of modern robotics. The robot itself was developed by Humanoid in just seven months, an exceptionally fast cycle that enabled immediate real-world testing and validation.
A Landmark Partnership for Localisation
The showroom is a key component of a strategic partnership designed to scale humanoid deployment across the Kingdom. QSS will serve as Humanoid’s exclusive partner in Saudi Arabia, overseeing local assembly at the Riyadh Robotics Factory. This collaboration enables the rapid and broad deployment of robots across critical sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, energy, retail, and public infrastructure.
Underscoring the scale of this ambition, the partnership has established a pre-order framework for up to 10,000 humanoid units over five years, marking one of the largest commitments to humanoid robotics in the Middle East.

This initiative directly supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to diversify its economy and establish itself as a high-tech hub. The collaboration leverages global expertise to build local capabilities, transforming the Kingdom’s industrial landscape.
