Saudi-based cybersecurity startup Solidrange has successfully closed a $2.4 million seed funding round to advance its AI-driven Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) automation and cybersecurity awareness solutions. The round was led by Sharaka Capital, with significant participation from Sadu Capital, SEEDRA Ventures, and Tali Ventures, the investment arm of stc Group.
The new capital will be used to accelerate the company’s regional expansion, enhance product and technical development, and deepen the integration of artificial intelligence across its platforms.
Investor Confidence in a Growing Market
The investment underscores strong confidence in Solidrange’s mission to address a critical gap in the regional market for locally developed, regulation-ready cybersecurity solutions. Having already secured over 50 enterprise customers, including government entities and publicly listed companies, Solidrange is demonstrating clear market alignment.
“This investment will help the company accelerate growth, expand its offerings, and advance its strategic roadmap in a way that meaningfully contributes to Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity ecosystem,” said Abdulelah Al-Owayyid from Sharaka Capital.
Jamal M. Labani, CEO and Co-Founder of Solidrange, added, “This investment is a strong endorsement of our vision and leadership to modernise governance, risk, and compliance practices through Saudi-built platforms that meet global standards.”
A Dual-Platform Approach to Cyber Resilience
Solidrange tackles cybersecurity through a comprehensive suite of platforms designed to mitigate both systemic and human-driven risks.
Its first flagship product, EasyCompliance, is a GRC automation platform that streamlines governance, risk management, and compliance processes. It simplifies internal audits and strengthens policy management by connecting all departments through a unified workflow, enhancing transparency and efficiency.
The company’s second offering, Awareness10, is an integrated, AI-powered cybersecurity awareness solution. The platform combines interactive training modules with sophisticated phishing attack simulations to assess employee readiness, test response behaviors, and deliver targeted strategies to mitigate human vulnerabilities.
Aligning with National Cybersecurity Goals
Founded in 2023, Solidrange’s growth is directly aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes strengthening the nation’s institutional resilience and cyber defense capabilities. The company’s platforms have already been deployed by several regulatory and oversight bodies, highlighting their compliance with national frameworks.
“As cyber threats increasingly exploit human behaviour and operational gaps, our focus on AI-driven automation and human risk management enables organisations to strengthen resilience while simplifying compliance,” commented Labani.
