TabSense, a Saudi startup redefining restaurant technology, has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Jasoor Ventures. The company, founded in 2024 by Mohammed Jaber, is pioneering the first AI Agentic Point of Sale (PoS) system, designed to act as a digital employee for restaurants and cafes and help them scale efficiently.

Unlike traditional PoS systems that merely record transactions, TabSense’s platform utilizes autonomous AI agents to transform operations. These agents streamline workflows, optimize menus, automate complex management tasks, and deliver actionable insights in real time. The new capital will be used to accelerate product innovation, expand regional sales, and grow the company’s full-stack engineering and AI teams. TabSense already serves over 1,000 clients, including multi-branch and franchise restaurants across Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The startup has also forged strategic partnerships with major regional players like STC and Zain, alongside integrations with key financial institutions, positioning it for significant growth across MENA.
