Scale Iraq Sponsors Five Startups For Regional Expansion Program

2 Min Read

The Scale Iraq initiative has sponsored five Iraqi startups—Sindibad, Dofied, Corrsy, Homele, and Kawnter—to participate in the Bridge Baghdad program. The program was organized by KAPITA, a key player in Iraq’s business development sector, in partnership with the Kingdom of the Netherlands through the OCIF initiative. This move underscores a growing effort to connect Iraqi entrepreneurs with regional and global opportunities.

Fostering Growth and Investment Readiness

The sponsorship is a core component of Scale Iraq’s vision to empower local startups and create a conducive environment for them to scale beyond national borders. By supporting initiatives like Bridge Baghdad, Scale Iraq aims to enhance investment, facilitate access to critical resources, and connect founders with networks that support sustainable growth. The program focuses on building bridges for collaboration and opening up new avenues for innovation within the Iraqi entrepreneurial landscape.

A Strategic Bridge to Saudi Arabia

A significant element of the initiative is a strategic partnership with Value Makers Studio (VMS), a venture builder based in Saudi Arabia. This collaboration is designed to forge stronger ties between the Iraqi and Saudi business ecosystems, creating clear pathways for Iraqi startups to expand into the Saudi market, one of the most prominent and dynamic economies in the region.
